Default Hey MOFarm

What part of Missouri?

I ran bank support for "The Grumpy Old Men" team in the MR340 in 08 and 09. Fell in love with the part of Missouri along the "Big Muddy". The old river towns and the people are awsome!

The MR340 starts at Kaw Point in Kansas City, Kansas and ends at the Lewis and Clark exibition and Riverfront Center in St. Charles.

I live in wonderful country...The Ozarks.
I am over 50 miles south of I44 in the middle near the Current River.

I live 2 hours from any kind of shopping. But I've gotten used to shopping online and from TV. When a girl is in a world of hurt for ''items'', she finds a way.

When I moved here, I found a ''different'' kind of people. I was sure that the Truckinfarmer was so smitten with me, I could get him to sell all this land, and go back to my home in California........HA! You cannot scrape these Rednecks off their soil. His GGGGGrandfather lived here too.

We used to run cattle and trucks, busy busy busy. Now we are old and we borrow cattle on a pasture rent deal. Down in here even the cattle are relatives.
Hubs is still running all around the country in his Petebilt.

Come back to visit. There is pretty much water in the rivers and streams this year.

I noticed late last night that with the abundance of wild life, it's called ''poachers delight''.

The Union won the battle up in town, but hubby's relatives never ever gave in. One Grandpa was a bit of a drunk, and he thought the flag pole up in Court House Square was leaning North. He chopped it down, and spent some time in the poky.

Old habits die hard down here in the Zarks.
