I been away for a bit... thanks to Patti for sending out the posse to look for me... nice to know one is missed sometimes.

I don't talk too much about my personal life online... never been real comfortable with that. A few months ago, my life was routine and almost boring. But, I've been buried in business issues, a trusted client that nakedly tried to screw me after 8 years of doing business, the passing of my Dad, a few sundry family issues, and my plate has been full.

All that, and a new girl in my life... and the wife approves...! :image035:

Rachael, my first child... she's about 6 weeks old now, and just painfully cute. I know, I know... everybody thinks their baby is beautiful, but I'm thinkin' my hunnee does exceptional work. My chest just aches when I look at her. My wife's beauty, coupled with my towering intellect... she's gonna be dangerous.

I couldn't be more proud... she already knows her first word. Its "now"... as in, "Feed me NOWWW!" or "Change my diaper NOWWW!"

Gonna try to be around more often... only got 3 or 4 hours of sleep last nite, so I my be out of pocket from time to time...

Congrats on the new "woman" in your life. I have 3 daughters - got the 2 for 1deal with the last two girls.

What a cutie.

I am glad I have a son, don't know if I could make the transition that girls require of their dads when they hit their teens.

Congratulations PointnClick! I hope to have children myself someday. But at the same time I don't. I wish you and you're family the best!

@farronwolf my best friend's dad, Jerry, has two sons and one daughter. He says that the sons are a lot less stressful once they hit their teens. To quote him:

"With a son you only gotta worry about the one dick, with a daughter you have to worry about all the other dicks."

Jerry is an awesome guy and totally reminds me of Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry.

Wow, PnC!

Your daughter is beautiful!!!

Please share my congratulations with your wife.

And, I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I hope he was able to meet his new grand-daughter. My mom passed away right after my son was born. It was really rough.

I hope you straightened out the business client. Back in the day when I had a construction business, a POS ripped me off for $125K and LAUGHED about it. Made me want to take a baseball bat to the guy's head. I survived the financial hit, but it wasn't easy. I learned a valuable lesson the hard way.
