I am trying to sell my AR-57 upper because I want to get a 5.56 upper for my AR instead. I bought this upper when I was building my first AR and it has only been attached. I never got a chance to take it to the range, partly because the 5.7x28 ammo is a kinda hard to find around here.

The 57 upper sells for $695.99 from 57 Center (http://www.57center.com/) and the 50 round magazines sell for $29.99.

I am asking 650 (plus shipping) for everything:

3 AR-57 (PS90/P90) Magazines

200 Rounds of 5.7x28mm

The above photos are stock photos. If you are seriously interested I can take photos of the actual upper, although it is the same as pictured above, besides a couple scratches on the finish which are very minor. The upper is in it's original packaging. The magazines are also in their original packaging and are the smoked/see through black magazines as pictured above. I do not have the original boxes for the ammo so that will be packed special.

I wish I could offer a review of my own for anyone interested but as I said I never got to fire it. I have read good things about it. I guess I would recommend it to anyone that already has an AR-15 and FNH's Five-seveN pistol as it uses the same ammunition. Or to anyone who just enjoys shooting new things.

I will work out the shipping details with the buyer. Payment in form of cashiers check.

I do not think this is legal in commiefornia and it is your responsibility to know your local laws to be sure you are allowed to have such a thing. But as it is not technically a firearm I would guess you can have it anywhere so long as it is not attached to a lower, don't quote me, know the laws where you are before deciding to buy. I know you people here on CS probably know all that but you never know.

Thanks for looking, if you or someone that you know are interested please leave me a message here on CS as I check it more often than my email.

Thank you!

For those that are curious how it feeds. It is supposed to work just like the P90/PS90. In the the top and out the bottom, in the AR-57's case out the magazine well.

I guess my little arrows won't work so well if your screens are set up different but you get the idea I hope.

Will that upper go on any AR lower?

Will that upper go on any AR lower?

Yes. Just push out the take down pin, pivot your old upper forward and push out the pivot pin and remove the old upper. Replace your buffer with the one provided, and install of the 57 upper is the reverse of removal of your old upper. You can find the installation instructions on their website, but they are included with the upper. From 57center.com:

1) Will the AR57 upper receiver fit on my existing lower receiver ?

A) The AR57 upper receiver will fit all Standard AR15/M16/M4 lower receivers.

It comes standard with a "carbine" buffer; for all "retractable" / "collapsible" / "carbine" stock lower receivers.

Please note: An additional buffer is available and required for all standard "butt stock" / "rifle stock"/ "A2 type" stock lower receivers.

So that is to say it will fit on any AR-15/M-16/M-4 lowers and comes with the buffer for collapsible stock buffer tubes as pictured below.

However if you have a butt stock on your rifle as pictured below you will need to order the correct buffer from 57center.
